art 1 final portfolio

1. Which project was your favorite or most successful this semester? Please explain.
alright so!!! my favorite project was the cartoon skeleton project because it didn't have to be perfectly accurate, but it could kind of be fun and just from your imagination. i picked blossom from the power puff girls because that was my favorite cartoon as a kid! if i had known i would have had a lot of time, i would have done all three of them. 8)

2. Regardless of whether you liked or disliked a project, which one did you learn, grow, or developed the most from? Please explain.

   i really liked the painting project! instead of painting a regular biome/habitat thingy i painted a skyscape. i also added an astronaut turtle because who doesnt love astronaut turtles really

   i learned from this one that if you paint something on really thick that the texture and stuff is going to show even if you paint it over??? yeh so don't do that kids

   3. Choose 1 piece of Art that you used skills and techniques learned from previous projects. Discuss your growth as an artist and how you incorporated these skills and techniques to create the piece.

      i couldn't find a picture of the finished spraypaint project, but this was my stencil for the spraypaint project! in that project, when we spraypainted on the cardboard, i used the techniques i learned from using the ipads which was use a lot of different colors! like if you have blue, put some black and purple in it too. green would work also! i used blue and yellow so i used a lot of different colors.

   4. Which project do you feel was the least important in learning the concepts taught in this course? Please explain.

   i kind of liked the chalk project?? but it was really aggravating at the same time because i always ran out of chalk?? which wasn't fun. i felt like it wasn't important because we didn't really use any elements from this on anything else? maybe that was just my group but there was literally nothing.

   5. Choose a piece of artwork where the subject matter reflects you as an artist; one that you have a personal connection to. Please explain your choice.     

      i have the most personal connection to this one because it's a hedgehog and as much as i love turtles i REALLY LOVE HEDGHeogGS????? yeah i love them a lot. so i picked this one because it came out the best which is funny because he kind of looks demonic in this one?? hahaha anyway i like this one the best because i just really love hedgehogs. not as much as turtles but still.
