game project ew

my overall thoughts on the final product is that it sucks really bad
i think this piece is not successful because it's not even the right colors oh my god and also i tried but i guess not hard enough?? i'm not good at drawing real life things sigh
what worked about this project was that we got to play games all day, but the bad part was that we had to draw the game like halfway through oh well
if i did this project again i would consider changing everything, like the perspective, washes, watercolor, gradation, blending, colored pencils, overlapping, horizon, vanishing points, value, highlights, and the shadows (hahahahaha i just used all the vocab words at once fight me) 8)
the most difficult part about this was stopping the game to actually draw the game
i learned from this piece that sometimes you actually have to try even if you don't want to do it?? hahaha

hahaHA AHAHhhaha?????//?/ /?/Z/???????h

hedgehog prints!! woo

these are my hedgehog models and their names are lucifer, fire, and sonic
and also me painting my nails green in art class #never forget 2k12
wow look at all the hair i have in that picture thats a lot of hair
um i added texture and contrast by using the knife thing to make the spikes stand out a little more and to draw the bush in the background!
i used positive and negative space to make sure that people could see the hedgehog's face and body in the prints, as well as the eyes!
the project was technically crafted by basically i just scraped a bunch of stuff out of the linocut stuff!

interactive chalk painting wow so cool look at fun

hey look it's me being fab
but when am i not fab just kidding im joke
anyway, my experience working on a team was pretty good overall! my teammates were brooke, sean, and brian, and we made a pretty good team, i think. our project turned out really good, except for the pipe which sucked majorly at everything but oh well
i excecuted my ideas pretty well! the whole "mario world" idea was my own idea anyway, so yeah.
collaboration is SUPER important on a project like this! you really have to communicate and talk to your teammates about what you want done and what you don't; such as colors used and texture and stuff. you also have to collaborate to get it done in the first place! if you don't collaborate, it'll turn out like crap
this project was pretty successful overall? except the pipe of course i mean that part mAJORLY SUCKED. the shading was way off and just really really bad overall
i feel ashamed to admit that my job was the pipe
anyway, it didn't work out that well because one of our teammates didn't work nearly as much as me and the others. it kind of pissed me off a lot.
it was sooooo cool to make art that the whole rest of the school could interact with! it was so much fun working on it (until i got upset with the pipe and just stopp e d) and it was cool to have people walk by and take pictures with their phones and stuff! it made me feel really awesome and cool and wowow!

value portraits aka the worst project ever dont ever make us do it ever again

i dont even know what happened to this picture????
like it was actually really good at first but then i just stopped because i didn't like it oopsie
to develop my drawing, i traced his face and then scribbled crap all over the back of the tracing paper and transfered it all onto the sketchbook paper by drawing on his face! it turned out backwards but oh well
after that we shaded it and drew the hair and drew whatever else we didn't get!
to find the different values we basically just went into our drawing and outlined them all. there were a lot that i forgot to put in this drawing though??? then we transfered those onto the sketchbook paper too.
i don't think i did achieve a full range of color actually hahaha...you can't really tell where they blend together? you can see the dark/light difference but not really much else. shadowing/shading stuff is actually really hard for me to do though because i've never done it like this
the work is executed neatly and crafted (sort of) neatly, but it's not well done if you know what i mean. i mean it fits into all the criteria i guess but it's not that great?? i did really well at the beginning and then didnt put in as much effort the rest of the time and bam this is the result
the obstacles i found were being bored, being even more bored, getting tired and sick of this project, and not being able to concentrate
and i overcame none of them i'm very glad this project is over
but i tried and therefore no one should criticise me

moss painting and turtle names

heres a sassy picture of me painting with moss yee
it was also really freakin hot outside that day so maybe it wasnt the best day to wear a sweater oh well
i regret nothing
in this picture i was painting some music notes and the border of one of the bricks on the top of the wall! later i moved on to a shadier area and painted a few zodiac signs, leo for me and taurus for my best friend! they both turned out really well but the moss paint is really chunky so it tends to smear when you coat over it multiple times!!
if i were to do this project again i wouldnt wear a sweater in 90 freakin degree weather because despite how much i love that shirt that was a really dumb idea
i also would have painted more in the shade, since moss tends to grow better where it gets less sun.

ps mr sands these are my proposals for the turtle's names and they are genderfluid because they are turtles and when you are a turtle what is a gender

~*~ ur welcome ~*~

cartoon bones

this piece turned out really well!! i'm really proud of this one, actually, and it turned out a lot better than i thought it would! i had to erase a lot of stuff and redraw it, so i was surprised that the paper didn't rip and that the drawing didn't smear.
this project worked for me because i really love the power puff girls oops and also because i've never drawn a real skeleton before, so it was a lot of fun! i'm actually thinking of doing a few more! : )
